Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 07, 2026
1. Scope & provider
These terms govern the use of the EmiraBooks software, offered by Quincom Ecommerce - FZCO, Building A1, Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, Vereinigte Arabische Emirate (“we”). Conflicting terms of the user are hereby rejected.
2. Description of services
EmiraBooks is cloud-based software that supports bookkeeping, invoicing and tax compliance in the UAE. The software provides calculations, notices and templates. It does not constitute tax or legal advice and does not replace review by a qualified advisor or filing with the competent authorities.
3. Conclusion of contract & trial
The contract is concluded upon completion of registration or booking of a plan. Where offered, a plan may be tried free of charge for the stated period. After the trial ends, the subscription converts into a paid subscription unless cancelled in time.
4. Prices & payment
The prices shown at the time of booking apply. Billing takes place at the chosen interval via our payment service provider. In the event of late payment we may temporarily suspend access.
5. Term & cancellation
Subscriptions are — unless stated otherwise — cancellable monthly. Cancellation is possible via the account settings or by email to hello@emirabooks.com.
6. User obligations
The user is responsible for the accuracy of the data entered and for the timely filing of submissions with the authorities. Access credentials must be kept confidential.
7. Availability
We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee it without interruption (e.g. during maintenance or third-party outages).
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Liability for the tax/legal accuracy of filings is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
9. Data protection
Information on the processing of personal data can be found in our privacy policy.
10. Final provisions
The law of the United Arab Emirates applies. Exclusive place of jurisdiction for merchants is Dubai, UAE. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country of the consumer's habitual residence (in particular within the EU/EEA) remain unaffected where applicable.
Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. We will notify you of changes to these terms in good time.
Right of withdrawal (for consumers)
Right of withdrawal: Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal you must inform us (Quincom Ecommerce - FZCO, hello@emirabooks.com) of your decision by means of a clear statement (e.g. an email). To meet the withdrawal deadline it is sufficient to send the notification before the period expires.
Consequences of withdrawal: In the event of an effective withdrawal we will refund all payments received without delay.
Early expiry: For digital services the right of withdrawal expires if we have begun performance at your express request before the end of the withdrawal period and you have confirmed that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
